GTM Super Car
After the success with the first 'Build & Soar' project of a Zenith Zodiac aircraft, Experience Aviation decided it was time to build a different type of machine. Captain Irving challenged 40 students to construct a super car that performs at 215mph using a Corvette engine and a Porsche trans-axle.
Students with no automotive experience took on this challenge of building one of the most difficult car kits on the market. From dozens of boxes of nuts, bolts, sheet metal, fiber glass and electronic harnesses and wires, these young technicians built a car that accelerates from 0-60mph in just 2.7 seconds with 525 brake horse power, a true 'super car'.
